We are excited to share with you the progress we made in the past month and the developments we have in store for you.

Progress

This month we reached out to the braille community to present the idea of Paige Connect. We believe it is crucial that we work in close collaboration with braille readers to ensure they have a say in the technology created for them and that the resulting design serves them in their daily lives.

We did this through The Braillists Foundation which is a grassroots organisation promoting braille and supporting its use. We also posted on the VI Forum which provides a space for education professionals to share their expertise. Through these channels we arranged in person testing to gather feedback and uses for Paige Connect.

We are proud to announce our award from UnLtd, the UK’s foundation for social entrepreneurs. UnLtd is at the heart of a thriving network across the UK creating positive social impact. Over the last year the Starting Up Award funding and tailored support has helped us to develop Paige Connect in close collaboration with the braille community. We were also fortunate enough to receive pro bono support to file our UK trademark.
